Race Day Information
Location / Parking
The meet will be held at Saint Ignatius College Prep on our new Rice Park athletic campus. The address of the main entrance to the track is 1220 S. Morgan Street Chicago, IL 60608. Street parking is available, as well as parking on the UIC campus. The track is located between Roosevelt Road and Maxwell Street on Morgan (1220 S. Morgan). You can enter there or at the south end of the track, off Maxwell Street.
Spectators
There will be a $5 entry fee at the gate for spectators, cash only. All athletes and legitimate coaches will receive free admission. We will also have concessions for sale. Additionally, Taylor Street (one block north of Saint Ignatius) and Halsted Street (two blocks east of the track) have an abundance of dining options.
Restrooms
Port-o-potties will be located near the main entrance. There will be no indoor facilities or locker rooms for the meet.
Awards
Awards for the top finishers in each event will be handed out following the next race. For example, the Middle School girls' awards will be passed out following the Freshman boys' mile. The awards stand will be on the fifty yard line. If you finish in the top 3 of the award eligible races (Open Championship, Middle School, Freshmen, High School, and MAGIS Championship), please make your way to the inside of the track following your race. Please note that heats 1 and 2 of the middle school and high school races will be scored together.
